Probably feeling a bit anxious with a sea of people pushing and shoving along aka typical Mong Kok!
You can unquestionably get stunning photos at different times, depending on what type of photos you want.
If you are going for "The city that never sleeps vibe", you would want to go around 8:30 pm-10:00 pm. A lot of people are still wandering along the busy streets of MK.
However, if you are shy but still want to capture the neon lights etc. You could go around 11:30 pm when all the shops are nearly closed.
Exit E2 from Mong Kok station should be the perfect starting point for you to wander around.
